Life’s rich tapestry has always included creativity and love of both colour and language for me. Yet over the years, my lack of artistic talent in traditional arts and crafts has caused frustration. Still, the urge to “make” has refused to leave me.
Writing and journalism have been my craft for many years, developing more recently as “blogging” became a thing. Garden planning and design, having begun whilst I was a stay-at-home mum, has continued to be a long-term passion.
So, as I reach the stage of life where I pause to breathe and reflect, I realise that my need to be creative does not have to be fulfilled with paint or clay. My pen and pencils can help others have the garden of their dreams and my keyboard can share my love of all things natural.
